During the semester break, we offer two dates for students to pose questions and clarify difficulties with the lecture material. The dates and TAs responsible are as follows:
- 22.06.2020, 14:00 - 15:00: Hardy (ID: 953-8452-1536) and Patricia (ID: 999-3894-1010)
- 20.07.2020, 14:00 - 15:00: Alex (ID: 954-5412-7551) and Jerome (ID: 976-7529-8145)
In order to answer questions more efficiently, we will hold two Zoom meetings in parallel with two TAs on each of the dates. If you would like to attend one of the two, please send the course organiser an email at least 3 days prior to the Ferienpräsenz. He will then split the students interested in attending into two groups and assign them to one of the TAs. The groups of each of the two TAs will receive a password/link to the meeting shortly before it starts.
We will collect questions in the forum during the week before the Ferienpräsenz or possibly more in advance and you can also submit your questions to the course organiser when enrolling for a meeting. This should help us prepare answers and make the discussion more streamlined. So if you have questions prepared, please do post them in the forum in the designated subtopic. General questions you do not want to be discussed in such a meeting can be posted in a different subtopic to be answered by either other students or by the course organiser. Naturally, posing questions by email is always possible as well. Naturally, I would be thankful if you clarify who posed which question in the forum.
Please be aware that the meeting is scheduled only for one hour. So if there are a lot of students present during a particular meeting, your questions might not be addressed. If this is the case, do contact the course organiser to obtain the answers you are looking for.
Lastly, these meetings are NOT intended to discuss questions regarding the organisation of the exam. If you have questions pertaining to this, directly contact the organiser or lecturer.

Important: Until the end of the semester, Prof. Da Lio will be recording the lectures without audience and upload it, so you can access the lecture independently. This is in accordance with the suspension of classroom teaching as you have been informed by email. The recordings are available here.
Access to Lecture recordings: If you have any questions or need the password to access the lecture, please contact either the lecturer or the course coordinator.
Lecture Notes: The current version of the Lecture notes can be found here. In addition, there is a diary of the lecture available detailing topics and important results discussed in class on the same site.
Important: Starting on 16.03.2020, the exercise classes will be replaced by the publication of guidelines for the problem sheets. Two teaching assistants will write down hints, examples, etc. similar to what you would have seen during the exercise class. There will be a German and an English version of the guidelines each week which differ from each other in the same way as the exercise classes of different assistants differ from each other. Consequently, it is recommended to take a look at both versions each week.
If you need further clarification regarding a particular exercise or something discussed in class, you may directly contact either your teaching assistant, the coordinator or the lecturer. In addition, for minor unclarities, please make use of the forum provided, see below.
Forum: There is a forum for the students to discuss the current exercise sheet and topics from the lecture. You can access the forum here. Follow the instructions on how to create an account in order to access the forum.
